Inspired by the poignant narratives of real individuals, “Confiding in Strangers” delves into the transformative power of group therapy. Seven female dancers, each embodying a character grappling with personal turmoil, navigate the labyrinth of their emotions through evocative solos. As the vignettes unfold, the dancers' intricate movements and poignant gestures illuminate the universal struggles of our time. Chairs, both props, and symbols of support, punctuate the stage, shifting with the emotional currents. The dancers' solitary quests for healing merge into a symphony of unity as they converge in a semicircle of shared vulnerability. Through this evocative exploration, "Confiding in Strangers" invites you to ponder the profound beauty of collective resilience and the enduring strength found in human connection.
Inspired by Ella Mai’s song of the same title, Easy was created to celebrate the deep emotions which come along with one’s first love.
"Petals" unfurls as an exploration of love's delicate journey, embodied by three dancers representing the stages of a blossoming romance. Evoking the evolution of a rose, their lace-clad forms reveal the vibrant hues of passion and the somber depths of sacrifice, navigating the euphoria and shadows of affection until the piercing realization shatters the illusion of love. As these feelings converge, their intertwined fate mirrors the bittersweet cycle of growth and loss, echoing the fleeting beauty of petals falling to the ground.
